Hi there, I’m Susann, a blogger from Johannesburg and Salt Rock (that is near Ballito).
I have an insatiable appetite for new passport stamps and my wanderlust has seen me drag my hubby to places he “never wants to see again”. If I could, I would become a nomad with a laptop and seven bikinis.
One of the most difficult subjects I write about is my infertility journey. It is one of the most heart-breaking and lonely journeys you could go on. To add to fertility treatments and having to shake our pockets we also have to use a surrogate to carry a baby for us.
I now live in a house with my Irish husband, the kid (Lexa that is now 11 months old) and 2 crazy black cats. I write quite a bit about little Lexa and her baby antics.
Other topics I write about include:
- Beauty because I like to keep my youthful appearance (you will never guess my real age)
- Local brands under my #LekkerLocal series
Brands I’ve worked with
- Instax (ongoing)
- Endless Jewelry
In the press
- “My Endometriosis Led To Me Having A Child Via Surrogacy”
